jntu conducting vra vra written test in telugu

The written test for will be conducted by the JNTU on January 30 and last date for submission of applications online is December 29, 2011. Satyanarayana wanted candidates to mention all their details relating to educational qualification, caste and age correctly at time of submission of application forms online.

The state government expects it will receive four lakh applications for VRO and 1.5 lakh for VRA posts.Replying to a query, Satyanarayana reasoned conducting of the exam was not entrusted to the AP Public Service Commission as candidates for VRA posts would work parttime and they would be paid monthly honorarium of minimum `3,000. As for VROs, the posts are permanent and equal to record assistant’s post and their salaries depend on the pay scale.

A minimum salary of `7,000 per month would be received by candidates selected for VRO post. The district collector will be the appointing authority for VRO posts and tahsildar for VRA posts, Satyanarayana said. Help desks will be available in all district collectorates for assistance to candidates, he added.

Answering another query, he clarified the written test for both posts would be conducted in Telugu and be an objective type. The rule of reservation would be applicable to both posts and for roster points the district and mandal would be taken as a unit for appointment.

The district collectors have already issued notification inviting applications for VRO and VRA posts on December 7. The candidates concerned should pay examination fee of `200 per application with a 50 per cent concession to SC/ST candidates at eSeva, Mee Seva and APOnline centres.

The answer key would be released after the written test. For any information, candidates can visit ccla.cgg.gov.in.
